Here are answers to the questions we get the most about how our personal chef plans work, from grocery details to menus and meal prep. If you don’t see your question here, reach out anytime. We’re happy to help you find the perfect fit!

What’s the difference between the three plans?

  • Gourmet Personal Chef: Smaller batch prep (up to 5 hours), 4 entrées + 1 snack, you handle grocery shopping (or add-on available).
  • Full Service: Up to 24 meals with shopping included, plus nutritional review and labeled meals.
  • Executive Chef Experience: Premium service with 2 sessions per week, up to 36 meals (including desserts), upgraded containers, and one dinner party per month included.

Are grocery and ingredient costs included in the plans?

Grocery shopping services are not included unless a plan specifically states they are.

  • Plan 1 (Gourmet Personal Chef): You shop from the detailed grocery list we provide, or we can shop for you at $85/hour.
  • Plans 2 & 3 (Full Service & Executive Chef Experience): Grocery shopping service is included as part of your plan.

The cost of ingredients is always covered by you. For transparency, we always provide a grocery estimate prior to each service.

Do I need to provide containers?

For all plans, meals are stored in your own containers.

We can recommend durable, eco-friendly, microwave-safe options that fit your storage space and portioning needs.

Do you offer delivery, or do you cook in my home?

Both options are available.

  • In-home service: We prepare meals in your kitchen and leave it spotless.
  • Delivery: Meals arrive safely packaged, labeled, and ready to store.

How long do the meals last?

Meals are designed to stay fresh for 3–5 days when refrigerated. For larger meal sets, we include freezing and reheating instructions to maintain quality and nutrition.

Can you accommodate food allergies or medical diets?

Yes. All plans include a dietary intake consultation.

Plans 2 and 3 also include a medical and nutritional review to ensure menus align with your health goals and dietary restrictions.

Can I request specific cuisines or favorite dishes?

Absolutely. Each menu is customized to your preferences and can include international cuisines, seasonal ingredients, and family favorites.

Some meals are more complex to prepare than others, and we’ll always let you know if your requested dishes are expected to take additional cooking time beyond what’s included in your plan. In that case, we’ll provide an estimated additional cost so you can decide how you’d like to proceed.

Do you offer event or dinner party cooking?

Yes! Event and dinner party services are available upon request and can be customized to your occasion and guest count.

These services are billed separately from your selected plan and are based on menu complexity, service style, and event size.

How do I get started?

We’ll start with a personal consultation to learn about your lifestyle, preferences, and dietary needs. After selecting your plan, we’ll design your first menu and schedule your cooking day(s).
